The Home, Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations editions of Windows 10 versions 1803, 1809 and 1909 have reached their End of Support.
Microsoft reminded their customers that the EoS of these editions of Windows 10 has already been reached with this month’s Patch Tuesday.
So, the devices running with these editions will not receive technical support and not even monthly bug and security fixes that ensure the protection from latest discovered security threats.
Redmond OS developers advise the users to upgrade to the latest versions to provide security to their system.
The company also rolls out feature upgrades to some of the outdated devices reaching the End of Support.
Microsoft said, “Windows Update will automatically initiate a feature update for Windows 10 consumer devices and non-managed business devices that are at, or within several months of reaching end of servicing.
“For these devices, you can choose a convenient time for your device to reboot and complete the update.”
Several editions of Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809 have also reached the end of the service on 11 May, 2021.
The list includes versions and editions of windows that have reached the end of support with this month’s Patch Tuesday:
- Windows 10, version 1909: Home, Pro, Pro for Workstations and Pro for Education; and Windows Server, version 1909, all editions
- Windows 10, version 1809: all editions except Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 and Windows 10 IoT Core/Enterprise 2019 LTSC
- Windows 10, version 1803 and Windows Server, version 1803: all editions
These are the Windows 10 editions that are still under support:
- Education, Enterprise, and IoT Enterprise editions of Windows 10, version 1909 (EoS on May 11, 2022)
- Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 and Windows 10 IoT Core/Enterprise 2019 LTSC (mainstream EoS on January 09, 2024, extended EoS on January 09, 2029)
